Trainee Dental Nurse

We are looking for a full-time, motivated and committed individual who is looking to take their first steps into the dental industry with full support from our experienced team at our fast-paced dental practice. You will be reliable, passionate, and a good communicator who thrives upon maintaining good standards.

You will be dedicated and have a real desire to work in this challenging yet rewarding field, as well as recognising the importance of delivering a world class service at all times. You must also demonstrate the desire to want to make a difference in the community whilst also possessing the aptitude to learn whilst on the job (surrounded by skilled professionals).

We will:

• Fully fund your 2-year trainee dental nurse programme which after successful completion will allow you to obtain a recognised Level 3 Diploma granting you the status of a “Qualified Dental Nurse”
• We will ensure you are a valued part of a team that has real passion in delivering an integral service.
• Support and mentor you, alongside investing quality time in you to help you achieve your full potential.
• Provide full funding of the L3 Diploma and further opportunities for future development and progression

Please note - this position is full-time and will be 40 hours per week including alternate Saturdays.

Please note – candidates do not require previous dental nursing experience, however, it would be beneficial if they do. Research on the role of a Dental Nurse is required to pass the telephone interview stage.

Drivers would be preferable as there may be occasions when you may need to provide cover at other Obex Dental practices.

• Holidays: All Full-Time employees start with twenty-eight days of holiday (including bank holidays per year). This increases after two years’ service by an additional one day’s holiday per year up to a maximum of thirty-eight days per holiday year.
